Wednesday, Sept. 17th

Today in class we will quickly go through some of the highlights from Chapter 1 in your text. There is a lot of good information in there about statistics from around the world.

We will then do a NASA activity to decide which of 15 items is the most important for survival if we were to crash on the moon. The purpose for this group activity is for us to explore the different roles we play in a group. Are we the listener? The talker? The one who insists his or her answer is the right one? Think about it....

Assignment for Friday, Sept. 19th:

Read the hand-out about the Iroquois Confederacy constitution and be prepared for an activity in class on Friday.
