Today in class we'll begin with our first current events presentation and discussion. This will give you an idea of how you should prepare for yours. Make sure to check the schedule on the back wall of the classroom so you are prepared when it is your turn.
We will then talk about group dynamics. What role do you take in group activities or discussions? Are you the "take charge" person? Do you sit back, listen, and think - and then contribute to the conversation? Are you firm in your convictions? Or, do you let others change your mind for you?
We are going to do a group activity that is a mock NASA trip to the moon. It's a lot of fun. After we're done, we'll discuss your role in the group discussion.
Assignment for Wednesday, Sept. 17th:
Read/review Chapter 1 in your text. We will discuss it in class on Wednesday.
