Since tomorrow, Sept. 17th, is U. S. Constitution Day, and UTTC is required to teach about it during this week, we are going to do an activity on this topic in class today.
We will begin by looking at the World Clock to give us an idea of what is happening in the world as we are sitting in class this morning. This tool can be shared with K-12 students, too.
We will then watch a short video clip of a history store about the origin of the Constitution:

We will then do an in-class activity, in pairs, in which we will compare sections of the Iroquois Constitution with the U.S. Constitution.
Assignment for Wednesday, Sept. 18:
Read pages 42-58 in Chapter 2 in your text.
