We're going to begin class today with a brief discussion about things to consider when schools/communities recognize activities that conflict with some people's beliefs and values (Columbus Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc.)
We'll then move into the four presentations we have scheduled for today. Sit back and enjoy (if you're not presenting!).
The next group is on for Wednesday. Also, remember your annotated bibliography is due this Wednesday.
A look ahead:
Phil Baird will be presenting in our class on Monday, Oct. 21, on "Who is Indian?" (his title for his presentation).
